Allison and Ryan are such a beautiful couple it makes my job SUPER easy!! Seriously though, I had a great time at the wedding. They had a very touching ceremony at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano and a super fun reception at Coyote Ridge Country Club in Carrollton. And of course it was extra fun because they hired my most favorite DJ in all the world, Ed Petty!!! He will be dj-ing Brad and my wedding as well!! HE IS AWESOME!!!!!

As always, Heather and Jonathan were SOOO much fun!!  Heather was absolutely stunning!!!  Her dress fit her so perfectly and come to find out she had NO alterations, that is awesome!  Jonathan's dad co-performed the ceremony and it was so touching and really beautiful.  The ceremony was at St. Michael's All Angels in Dallas and the super fun reception was in Arlington at the Courtyard Villas.  They won their reception at a Bridal show that Heather went to so that was really cool and a huge stress relief for them.  We all danced the night away and sent the happy couple off to a great honeymoon in Cancun!!

Yep, that's right!! Brad and I are engaged!!!!! We went to Cozumel this past weekend to get away from our crazy schedules for a couple of days and Brad totally surprised me with a GORGEOUS engagement ring!!! He was very calm and I really had no idea what he was about to do.....

We spent a very rainy day on the beach......like my dad always says "a rainy day on the beach is better than a great day sitting at your desk at work".....and we got cleaned up and went to dinner. After dinner we were sitting in the lounge area when he said that fuzzy (our world traveling penguin) was digging a hole in his pocket and when he pulled fuzzy out he had the ring on Fuzzy's little foot and asked me if I would marry him.....and of course I said yes and started crying. Once I put it on he asked me if I noticed the inscription, and so with very teary eyes I squinted in the dim light to try and make out the inscription and it was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did it say you ask??? I don't know if I am ready to divulge our saying....I'll think about it, but for now just know that the inscription is my favorite part of the ring!!!

I have to admit I felt (and still feel) very conscious of having it on and very nervous that I am going to drop it or something....it's hard to swim with your hand in a fist ; ) !!!
So I know there is only the one pic for now, but I realized that the actual engagement night pics are on Brad's camera so I will have to get them from him and post a little later about that!! But for now here is a cute pic of Brad and me with my super sparkly new ring.
