• Welcome to my blog, I am Michelle Peyronet (pronounced PAY-ro-nay) Jones.

Time flies when you are having fun with your best friend, I cannot believe that I have been married three years already. In my spare time, you will find me traveling, playing outside, having dinner with friends, scuba diving, and falling asleep on the couch. I am also learning to love cooking … but I have a lot more learning to do ; )

Whether I am shooting a wedding or portrait session, I always have fun. I get excited about everything from meeting new couples that are planning their big day, to watching the groom’s face when he sees his bride in her dress for the first time, and of course dancing at the reception. Then, a couple years later, seeing that bride turned friend hold her new baby and watching their family grow in my portraits on their walls. I truly enjoy my job!

GILLIAN & TONY ENGAGE

Fun in the sun? Yes! Hot spring in Texas? Yes!!! Gillian and Tony were such troopers the day we did their engagements, it was the first really hot day this spring and that day always seems so much warmer than the rest of the year since it has such a bite to it. But instead of dwelling on the heat, we had a good laugh and a great session out at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson. And we were handsomely rewarded with warm sunset light and a colorful field of wildflowers! I can’t wait for the wedding of this cute couple!!

CARMEN’S BRIDALS-FORTH WORTH ARTS DISTRICT

I finally get to show off Carmen’s bridal session!!! I have had some gorgeous dresses lately and Carmen’s is no exception! She looked so stunning!! I just love all the pleats in the dress, it really moves your eyes all over and fits wonderfully. Carmen wanted a more organic look for her bridal session so we hit up Trinity Park in Fort Worth…and did a lot of people dodging since it was great weather there were picnics and barbecues going all around the park! Once we felt like we had enough foliage we headed over to the Modern Art Museum and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History just to mix it up a bit. So happy for Carmen and Sam, have fun on the honeymoon!!!

MARTY LEONARD CHAPEL

Marty Leonard Chapel after dark can be a very tricky place to shoot, so for the sake of practice Lynn and I went out for an hour one Monday night to shoot a ceremony for a very sweet young couple who otherwise would have had no pictures at all to document their big day. They were so genuinely grateful it really warmed my heart. It’s good to remember we all have room for improvement and help someone out at the same time!

THREE GENERATIONS

My sweet photo hommie Kristin Greenlee ask me for a huge honor…photographing her grandmother, aunt, herself, and cute son Micah. Kristin’s cute grandma has lived in Texas all her life, but has never taken the infamous “Texas bluebonnet portraits” so this was a high priority for location for Kristin. She found an awesome field that I was honestly somewhat reluctant to use due to it’s proximity to No Trespassing signs…I know, me scared of no trespassing signs? You just would have had to seen it…but no tickets, no hassles, just gorgeous untouched bluebonnets and wonderful magic hour light. I am so happy to be a part of this moment, and it certainly could not have happened without the background support of my Photography Clique Chicks Janelle and Lynn, thanks for all your help that day ladies!!

And thanks to Janelle for the awesome behind the scenes shot of me and my sweet “nephew” Micah!! Love you buddy!

Kristin Greenlee - Thank you so much Michelle for shooting these and Janelle and Lynn for helping out. Our family truly treasures these photos beyond words. I highly encourage you guys to hire Michelle to do a similar shoot. Think outside the box of what you traditionally hire a photographer to shoot for you and collaborate to create something magical that will stand the test of time and legacy in your family. It’s the best money you will ever spend! My grandma is 83 and has very limited mobility, but that didn’t stop us! It’s one of the reason’s we used the bed, it gave her a place to sit and we just drove her right up to it. Don’t make excuses, make a way! I know what these photos will mean to us in the coming years. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Michelle Peyronet - You are more than welcome!! And thanks for inspiring me to shoot my own family more often!!

AMANDA’S BRIDALS – JAPANESE GARDENS

I finally get to show off Amanda’s bridals since she and Brian were married last night!! We got so lucky with the weather that day…originally we had planned for what turned out to be a VERY soggy day, so it was great that Amanda was flexible and we could shift her session by a couple days. The Japanese Gardens at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens were gorgeous that day!! All the cherry blossoms were in bloom, the Japanese maples were just putting on their leaves and that made for great color all around the gardens. I love Amanda’s smile and her sweet personality, she makes my day everyday I work with her!!
