This is the part where I tell you all about me…

My name is Michelle Peyronet Jones, that is pronounced PAY-ro-nay, it is my middle name, my mother’s maiden name, and a very cool piece of my family history. I am hometown girl, born in Dallas, raised in Arlington where I currently live with my husband, our sweet but stubborn (cough*just-like-his-momma*cough) six year old boy and our chill but silly three year old girl. We have been married for thirteen years already! Time really flies when you get to have fun with your best friend! I love to travel, curl up on the couch with a good book, scuba dive, play outside, and I am learning to cook…though I still need some serious practice. Wait, wait, ok, that sentence must be a wish list, because I have two kids 🙂 These days it looks more like hockey mom, school volunteer, sidewalk chalk artist, and bandaid keeper. But I waited a long time for our babies, so I try to have a better work life balance. I only take 12 weddings a year so I can make sure I give the best of me to my clients and my family. I try to use my talents for good, as my grandma used to tell me. 

The technical stuff…I photographed my first wedding in 2000, and went full time in 2005 after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The University of Texas at Arlington. In 2014 I started an associate brand of my company called The Purple Pebble Photography to better serve a broader range of brides and give some awesome ladies the platform they needed to give their photography careers a jump start.
